Guest doctoral student for one year at the Institute of Public Management

Starting in October 2017, the Institute of Public Management is hosting a guest doctoral student from Ural Federal University  (UrFu) in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation. UrFu is a partner university of University Klagenfurt.

Olga Trunova is originally from Perm, where she graduated at the prestigious Higher School of Economics and worked as a research assistant at the center for applied economics. She is an expert in smart city solutions. Her stay in Klagenfurt is made possible by an Ernst Mach research scholarship grant awarded to her by the Austrian Academic Exchange Service (OeAD).

Under the supervision of prof. Paolo Rondo-Brovetto and dr. Sanja Korac, Olga is studying the configuration and the effect of public-private partnerships on the pace of technological innovation in city governments.
