HBMS: Observation Interface

Human Behavior Monitoring and Support

The HBMS Observation Interface (HBMS-OI) is a specific case of the generic concept of the model-based Activity Recognition (AR) interface that can independently connect existing ARS. Such interface is based on the Activity Recognition Environment Modeling Language (AREM-L) which can be used to describe the recognition structures coming from ARS covering both basic and instrumental (complex) activities.

This interface connects lower level and higher level ARS in a virtual “HBMS ARS” to provide sufficient contextual information for implementing the support functionality of HBMS system.
